HotelTonight – Book Pocatello Hotels with Ease
For decades, Pocatello has been one of the biggest cities in Eastern Idaho. Throughout my life, I'd driven through the Gate City many times but never had a chance to spend a day there. However, during a recent trip, I decided to pull off the highway in Pocatello and spend the day exploring the city, it had grown so much since my last visit, and felt new and exciting. Thanks to the HotelTonight app, I didn't have to worry about finding a place to stay and was able to enjoy a relaxing day in Pocatello, seeing what the city had to offer.
The Development
Over the years, Pocatello has grown a lot. The city council has done a great job revitalizing the town and making it feel fresh and welcoming. There were so many new buildings and businesses that have opened since the last time I had passed through Pocatello, it was almost like visiting the city for the first time. After I arrived in the city, I spent a while driving up and down the streets, admiring the number of new businesses and shops that had opened up. While a new host of businesses have recently opened, Pocatello still possesses the feeling of a cozy small city.
Things to Do
I was amazed at the number of new stores and shops that are in Pocatello. I spent hours window shopping and checking out trendy local shops. In addition to the great stores that are found throughout the city, there are a number of museums, outdoor activities and a bustling college campus that always has activities going on. During my day in Pocatello, I was able to catch a college football game during the day. There's no shortage of entertainment choices in Pocatello.
The Food
Pocatello is home to several great restaurants and diners. From fancy restaurants to casual fast food, the city seemingly has everything. I asked around looking for the best place in town to eat and was lead to a family-owned Mexican restaurant. The food was great and totally worth it. In addition to the great food, the staff was friendly and seemed happy to serve me. After dinner, I had a delicious churro for dessert. It was one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time and I"ll be sure to stop at the restaurant the next time I'm in Pocatello.

After a day of fun and a great meal, I was ready to get some sleep. I knew I wouldn't have to worry about finding a hotel room thanks to the HotelTonight app. I pulled the app out and in a matter of minutes had booked a great room in the city. I headed to the hotel and had no problem checking in thanks to the HotelTonight app. In my room, I stretched out on my comfy hotel bed and quickly fell asleep, tired out from a great day spent in Pocatello. I'll definitely be stopping in Pocatello again the next time I am in the area.
