I have spent a lot of time in northern Idaho, but rarely made it into Washington. Recently, however, I had the chance to spend a day in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Spokane and found out the Spokane neighborhood had so much to offer. I was in Spokane visiting a friend, but when he was called away on work, I suddenly found myself with a day to spend exploring the city. I headed for Lincoln Heights, knowing that I would be able to easily find a place to stay with the HotelTonight app.
The Area
There was so much to do and see in Lincoln Heights, and I loved the day I spent in the area. The neighborhood has a number of great shopping spots and cool things to see and do. I spent the first part of my day wandering up and down the streets exploring the neighborhood. I could have spent days looking at all the area had to offer. It seemed that Lincoln Heights had so much to do and to see that returning was inevitable.
Things to Do
Lincoln Heights is an exciting neighborhood in Spokane and offers so much to see and do. I was amazed that one little neighborhood could contain so many great things to do. The neighborhood is filled with several locally-owned stores and shops that give it a trendy and exciting feeling. There also are a lot of cool things to see, Lincoln Heights is home to a winery, an art gallery and more. I spent hours winding my way through the attractions and things to do in Lincoln Heights during my day off. There's no way I could have done everything the neighborhood had to offer in just one day.
The Food
After my day of sightseeing, I decided it was time to find something to eat. I started looking around and noticed a lot of restaurants and cafes throughout the neighborhood. I asked around and was led to a great restaurant in the heart of the neighborhood. I sat down and ordered a hamburger with all the fixings. It was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I wish I could have eaten more because everything on the menu looked delicious. I'll make sure to visit this place again on my next trip to Spokane.
