HotelTonight – Jerome Hotels
I have lived much of my life in Idaho, but never spent time in the city of Jerome, until recently. I was in Twin Falls for a meeting, but when the meeting was canceled, I decided to spend the day in the nearby town of Jerome, instead of heading back home. I spent time exploring the central Idaho city and loved every minute of it. The best part was that with HotelTonight, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about finding a hotel room at the last minute.
The Area
Jerome is located in central Idaho, near Twin Falls and visiting Jerome is a great change of pace from the bigger and busier cities. The town is dotted with local restaurants and stores, which helps give the city a great atmosphere. Jerome is also located in a great place for anyone who loves the outdoors. There are so many hiking trails around the city and Jerome also offers easy access to the Snake River Canyon. The city sits in a beautiful location, which makes visiting Jerome even more enjoyable.
Things to Do
Despite having a population of just over 10,000 people, Jerome offers a lot to do and see. One of the first things I did in the city was visit a local museum that detailed the history of the area. Then I spent some time exploring the city, wandering up and down the streets of the small downtown area. For history buffs, there is a national historical site in Minidoka. Fans of the outdoors will have a number of choices of places to visit as well. Jerome is perfectly positioned on the Snake River to allow short trips or hikes. I would have needed a full week to see all the different things Jerome has to offer.
The Food
While I was wandering around the streets of Jerome, I noticed a number of restaurants and cafes that all looked inviting. I always love finding where the locals eat, so I asked a passerby where the best food was and was directed to a great little diner in the middle of town. The diner had great service and even better food. I ate a hamburger that came with the best fries I've ever had. The meal was delicious, and I'll be sure to stop by that diner again the next time I pass through town.

After a day of exploring in the city and a having a great dinner, I was feeling exhausted and ready to get some rest.
