This is a great hotel with excellent food/coffee options in the lobby. The rooms are quaint and on the small side, but functional and nicely accommodated. Quiet, nice views of downtown Chicago as well!

This is a great location in the beautiful and charming Gold Coast neighborhood. It is walkable to many attractions. The lobby has a fun blend of locals working and drinking and travelers, making the place feel like a neighborhood hub. The gym is solid, with weights up to 50 lbs.

My room was dirty — hair in shower etc. The resort fee is insane especially if you aren’t utilizing the amenities— half of which weren’t even communicated to me. It was $6 for a plain drip coffee, which when I asked to transfer to takeaway and if they do refills, I was told no. Kind of nuts for a paying hotel guest.
