I was driving across Wyoming on my way to visit some family in Idaho and had been on the road for hours when I felt like I needed a break. I decided to pull off the highway in Jackson Hole and spend the day exploring the Teton Village area of the city. Throughout my life, I've been to Jackson several times but never spent time in Teton Village. I'd heard from many people that it's a great little town so I wanted to check it out. I knew I wouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay, even on short notice. Thanks to the HotelTonight app, I was free to enjoy a carefree day in Teton Village.
The Area
Nestled in the mountains Northwest of Jackson Teton Village is a beautiful town with so much to see and do. Teton Village is part of the Jackson ID-WY Micropolitan Statistical Area and has a population of just 330 people. Despite the small population, there is so much to see and do in Teton Village, and I couldn't wait to explore the town and find out what it is that makes Teton Village a great place to visit.
Things to Do
I decided to start out my day in Teton Village with a ride on the aerial tram. The tram gave great views of the beautiful scenery and mountains in the area, and it was a great way to see the gorgeous mountains that surround the area. Next up, I went on a hike on one of the many trails around town. There were a lot of hiking trails to pick from and there was something for every ability level. I wish I would have had more time in town, because there were a lot of other things I would have loved to have done.
The Food
I worked up an appetite on my hike and headed back into town ready to get something to eat. I wanted to have the best food in town, so I asked some locals and was led to the Spur Restaurant and Bar. I walked in and instantly loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff. I ordered a burger and, as soon as I took a bite, I was so glad I decided to eat dinner there. The meal was great, and I'll be sure to come back the next time I'm in town.

After dinner, I was tired and ready to unwind for the night. The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to finish my drive to Idaho. As I pulled out of town, I thought back on the day and was so glad I decided to stop in Teton Village.
