Without a doubt, Brian Head is best known for its premier skiing. I was lucky enough to visit Brian Head when there was still plenty of snow on the slopes, so you can bet I spent lots of time on my skis. The ski resort boasts 71 diverse runs, and there are multiple runs suitable for every ability level. I like to think that I'm a fairly seasoned skier, and I can confidently say that I've been to few ski resorts that are more beautiful or more impressive than Brian Head. I've already decided I must return to Brian Head next ski season, too.
Hiking
If you visit Brian Head during the warmer months, you probably won't find any snow on the ground. That doesn't mean there's no point to your mountain vacation, though, since there is still plenty to do and see in Brian Head during the summer. Brian Head offers hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, and you can even take the chairlift up to the top of mountain during the summer if you don't want to tackle the arduous hike.
Downtown
Just a short drive away from Brian Head Resort is downtown Cedar City, an idyllic mountain town. This is the place to go when you want a delicious meal or some great shopping after a long day of skiing or hiking. Plus, this historic downtown is full of charm and energy, so you're sure to enjoy just wandering down its streets day or night.
