HotelTonight – Find Lake Ozark Hotels
I was in central Missouri with plans to meet a friend. But when my friend had to cancel at the last minute, I decided to make the most of my time in the area and visit Lake Ozark. I've always loved the beauty of the Ozark's and was excited to spend some time exploring the area. I knew that I wouldn't have any trouble finding a place to stay thanks to the HotelTonight app, which left me free to enjoy a great day.
The Area
Lake Ozark is a small town in central Missouri and is in Camden and Miller counties. The town is near the Lake of the Ozarks in the northern part of the Ozark Mountain range. I was amazed at the natural beauty of the area around the town. Lake Ozark is the perfect place to visit for anyone who wants to be close to the outdoors, while still having the comforts of being in a city. I couldn't wait to start my day in town and knew I was going to have a great day in Lake Ozark.
Things to Do
I was amazed at how many things Lake Ozark had to see and do. The town was a great place to visit and spend a day. I decided to start my day out with a trip to the Ozark Distillery. I'd heard about it during my time in Missouri and was excited to check it out. It was a really cool tour that talked about the history of moonshine in the Ozark mountains. After that, I headed toward the Lake of the Ozarks, which was just as beautiful as I'd heard. I spent a while walking around the area, taking in the scenery. It was a great way to spend my day.
The Food
As I returned back to town after spending time at the lake, I was feeling hungry and wanted to get the best food that Lake Ozark had to offer. I asked some locals and they suggested I check out a steakhouse in town. I was so glad I did. The food was amazing and the service was great. I ordered the Chicken Piccata and it was one of the best meal's I've had in a long time. I'll make sure to eat there again during my next trip to central Missouri.

After my delicious dinner, I was feeling tired and ready to relax. Sometimes I've had problems finding a place to stay on short notice, but not this time.I opened up the HotelTonight app and in a matter of minutes, booked a great room right in the heart of town. I was so glad I decided to visit Lake Ozark after my plans changed. It was just what I needed to relax and made my trip to central Missouri worth it. I can't wait to come back to Lake Ozark again. Spending a day in this great little town is something I'll be sure to do more often.
