The city of Blackfoot lies between Idaho Falls and Pocatello, and is one of the nicest small towns in the state. I recently had the chance to spend the day in the city. I had been on a business trip in Pocatello last summer and after finishing up my work for the week, I decided to spend a day exploring and headed for Blackfoot. Despite my trip being a bit spur of the moment, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about finding a place to stay, thanks to the HotelTonight app.
Things to Do
Blackfoot has a number of great attractions and things to do, making it a great place to visit. The city has a small town feel to it, but still has plenty of entertainment. When I arrived in Blackfoot, I spent time visiting local shops in the area and then decided to visit a local museum dedicated to the history of the area. I also visited a number of great boutique style shops in the city. There were so many things to see and do, I wished I would have had more time to spend in the city.
The Area
The city of Blackfoot has grown a lot in recent years and several local shops. The city is surrounded by several farms and has a great view of the mountains. It makes it feel like a sleepy community. While being a smaller city, Blackfoot boasts a number of great attractions and things to do for everyone. Whether you love shopping, hiking or just enjoying a day out, Blackfoot is a great place to go.
The Food
Thanks to the number of farms around the city, Blackfoot is home to a number of restaurants with locally grown food. I spent a lot of time looking for places to eat because Blackfoot had so many great options. Eventually, I decided on a restaurant that served home cooked style meals. It was a great choice, and I ate a delicious steak that was perfectly cooked. The meal also came with a baked potato, that was one of the best potatoes I've ever eaten. The restaurant had so many delicious looking items on the menu and everything looked like it would be delicious. After eating such a delicious meal, I decided I was ready to kick back and relax for the night.
