Whether you come to Montana when the peaks are coated in snow or when the days are long and hot, you should take some time to admire Montana's beauty from the peak of the Bridger Range.
Rivers
As someone who lives in drought-stricken Southern California, I was blown away by how many flowing streams and rivers are all over Bozeman. The beautiful Gallatin River passes through Belgrade, and locals love this river for a number of reasons. First of all, it's one of the prettiest rivers in the area, and its cool, fast-flowing water is perfect for fly-fishing. At certain parts of the river, you can also enjoy kayaking and white water rafting, so there are plenty of water activities to choose from in the Bozeman area.
The Airport
One of the best reasons to stay in Belgrade is its proximity to the airport. The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is located in Belgrade, so it's a great place to stay if you want to be close to the airport so you won't miss your flight. I found it extremely convenient to stay near the airport, because I was able to spend more time enjoying the great outdoors instead of driving further to the airport.
