• Originally built in 1860 by a sugar refiner for entertaining, now a luxe boutique stay complete with fab restaurant.
• Caryatids is flanked by two statues at the entrance, and opens to the private garden. (Note Alfred Sommier’s monogram on the Gien tableware.)
• There’s an antique mirror in the bar (a former smokehouse) that reflects the original architectural plans for the mansion.
