HotelTonight – South Park Charlotte Hotels
Charlotte, North Carolina is a lot of things to a lot of different people. It represents forward-thinking progress given its growth and development in recent years. It represents traditional southern culture to many others, and to some it represents both. Regardless of why people love Charlotte, one thing that everyone agrees with is the notion that there is something for everyone here who wants to spend time in a lovely place and enjoy themselves. I've been coming here for quite some time because of work, and a couple of years ago I decided it was time to learn more about what it's like to live here as opposed to visit here. I have done so by extending my business trips by 24 hours and then choosing one neighborhood in which to spend that time. I chose to deeply explore the South Park neighborhood on my most recent visit, as I had heard a lot about it but never really seen it. I wasn't concerned about finding a place to stay, either, as I always travel with HotelTonight. My favorite app would find me a South Park Charlotte hotel in seconds when I was ready for one.
The Shopping
If you love to shop as much as I do, then you need to figure out a way to get to South Park in Charlotte as soon as possible. You'll actually need more than a day to get everything done that you want to here, but that's okay because it won't seem like work. I had to limit myself to half of a day of shopping or I would have used every second I had at the local mall or at any of the other shops. I enjoyed my time looking at both world-renowned brands and some local labels that you won't find anywhere else.
The Park
I didn't expect to find a gorgeous park here in the middle of all of this shopping, but that's exactly what I encountered. On the night I was there, Symphony Park had a concert that was set to perform, and I managed to talk to a nice lady who helped me get a seat. It was situated right on a beautiful body of water, and the band played some soul-touching classical music for at least two hours. It was a real treat to experience all of that unexpectedly.
The Cuisine
After the concert, I needed something to eat, and I found a restaurant that specialized in hamburgers. That seemed perfect for me for some reason, so I went in and ordered. The hamburger was delicious, and I could not believe how the chef was able to make so many different toppings fit under one delicious bun. Everything tasted great, and the beer that they suggested I have with it tied the entire meal together. It was a fantastic meal.
