HotelTonight – Book Hotels in Kimberling City
During a recent business trip in Branson, I found myself with a free day after a series of meetings ended early. Instead of returning straight home, I decided to take a short drive to Kimberling City and explore a part of the state I'd never been to. I wouldn't have a problem finding a place to stay, thanks to the HotelTonight app, which left me free to enjoy my day in town.
The Area
Kimberling City is located in southern Missouri, near the border with Arkansas. It is a small town with a population of just over 2300 people. The town is just a short drive from Branson and is within the boundaries of the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. Kimberling City is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is near the Table Rock Lake. The city is a popular destination for those who love the outdoors and is surrounded by many hiking trails and beautiful scenery. I couldn't wait to get out and see what Kimberling City had to see and do.
Things to Do
The first thing I wanted to do in Kimberling City was to check out the beautiful Table Rock Lake. The lake was so gorgeous, and I'd heard that it was a great place to fish. So I headed to the lake and had a great time fishing. I didn't manage to catch anything but loved spending some time in the outdoors. The lake is a really cool area, and there's a place where you can rent aquatic vehicles for the day and get out on the lake. After a few hours of fishing, I decided to check out some of the other attractions in the area and went for a hike on one of the trails near the city. It was a great way to spend my day.
The Food
Once I'd finished my hike, I was feeling hungry and wanted to get something to eat. I always like to try the best food the town has to offer, so I asked some locals where I should eat at. I was directed to a great pizza place in town. I was really glad I decided to eat there, because the food was amazing and the service was great. I'll make sure to eat there again the next time I'm in Kimberling City.

After eating dinner, I was feeling tired and was ready to get some rest and relaxation.
