Nestled on the order of Idaho and Wyoming, Victor Idaho is one of the most beautiful parts of the state. I'd always known Victor was beautiful, but it wasn't until recently that I found out all the little city had to offer. I had been in Jackson Hole Wyoming for a week of business meetings and was feeling drained. After the last meeting of the week, I got in my car and started driving. Something about Victor called out to me, and I pulled off the highway and decided to spend a day in the little city. Thanks to the HotelTonight app, booking a room that day was no problem.
The Area
Victor is a great spot for nature lovers. Shortly after I arrived in the city, I visited a shop that rents bicycles and decided to rent a bike and enjoy some fresh air while I saw the city. It was a great way to get around and enjoy the sights of the city. For being a small town, there is plenty to do in Victor to keep you occupied. No matter what you like to do, there's something for everyone.
Things to Do
During my day in Victor, I took in the sights, visited a few local shops and even took a trip to the Grand Teton Brewing Company. In the evening, I caught a movie at an old historic theater. The trip to the theater was wonderful. The building has a historic feel to it, and when I entered the building, it felt like I was stepping back in time. With so many great places to visit and things to do in Victor, I had a nice and relaxing day, which after a week of business meetings, was just what I needed.
The Food
Throughout the city of Victor, there are a number of great local restaurants and cafes. It seemed that every block had a great looking restaurant, it took quite a while to decide where I wanted to grab dinner. Eventually, I decided on a place that styled itself as an American Grill. I was not disappointed with my decision. The food was fantastic, and I had great service. After dinner, I wandered over to a place that had great desserts and had a big bowl of ice cream. It was the perfect ending to a great day. After a day of fun and a great meal, I was ready to get some sleep.
