Deep in the historic French Quarter, it’s an oak-tree-in-the-courtyard kinda place, steps from Louis Armstrong Park. (Air-trumpet accordingly.)
It's a step back in time (and we’re not talkin’ baby step), loaded with antiques, chandeliers and oodles of original artwork.
The Marie Laveau Annex was once owned by the famous voodoo priestess, who was sought out to consult on everything from love to litigation.

This little converted French Quarter guest house has all the personality of New Orleans! Great location within easy walking distance to the best of the French Quarter, but still quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

It's old, and that's part of the character. It's close to Bourbon street but quiet.
Our accommodations were located in what was probably servant's area. The electricity was a bit weird because you couldn't turn off the light without turning off the fan. That was the only disappointment in the whole experience.

We got given our keys to our room and when we got in the room was completely under construction and there was someone’s stuff in it and empty food wrappers. When we went back to the front there was nobody at the desk. A worker came from outside and helped us but it took a lot just to get the room swapped.
